North Perthshire Family History Group, formed in 2002, is located in Pitlochry, Perthshire. Meetings are held monthly from September to May at 7.30 pm in The Tryst Hall, with speakers, lively discussions and refreshments. Visitors are always very welcome at meetings and at the Group's research room in Moulin Kirk. (See News page for opening hours). There are currently 62 members researching locally and worldwide.

Our main aims are:

  • To provide a meeting place for all interested in family history, offering opportunity for group discussions, shared knowledge and resources.

  • To carry out projects relating to local family history e.g. churchyard surveys.

  • To acquire source material relating to Moulin and adjacent parishes.

  • To organise visits to New Register House, Edinburgh and other places of interest.
